You Are Enough

you are enough

You are enough.

I see your scars,

Rough and thick with scar tissue,

Others weeping still.

I hear your pain.

The way you abused others,

Your neglect.

I smell your fear.

Haunted by your own insufficiency,

Terrorized with what if.

I come close and touch your beauty.

Jagged edges brushed with gold,

Cracked so that the light gets in.

You are enough ♥️

  1. Hi Krista! I read your piece on Maria Shriver’s feed about enough. Awesome!!!! And I want to say that you are onto something big. The Enough work goes even deeper and ripples wider than any of us could imagine. After receiving a “divine download”in 2013, I spent the last four years researching and writing about Enough. The book was published in 2016 and a guidebook of 100+ experiences to go deeper with enough is being released in November. I also just recently created a new “Enougher” community on Facebook. If I were to sum it up, I’d say that it always begins with a shift to “I am Enough”within, and progresses even more when we realize our whole orientation to the word Enough has been skewed towards not enough (a lens that sees and perpetuates scarcity). The collective cascade effect of seeing through a lens of Not Enough rather than Enough is everything from war and exploitation to greed and over consumption. Your was the first blog I’ve seen to connect “I am enough”with planetary change. I believe that to be true with every fiber of my being, and the more of us spreading the word the better. I would love to connect. My website is http://www.WeAreEnough.com
