Welcome! All of you is welcome here. I’m Krista (she/her), Writer, Holistic Embodiment Coach + Joyful Living Educator. I help brave, weary, curious humans journey to freedom and wholeness as they learn to befriend their true self, reclaim their voice and agency, and remember how to feel safe, at home + joyful in their body and their life in every season. Even the hardest of them.
My clients include therapists, physicians, educators, pastors, coaches, creatives, researchers, social workers, business owners, grieving parents, women on leave from work due to chronic illness, and more. I love the diversity of the interesting and growth-minded people I have the privilege of meeting and supporting.

I am just emerging from a very difficult chapter of life and kind of felt like a shell of myself. I signed up for coaching with Krista. Our work together was subtle, gentle, and powerful. Krista has helped me to observe without judgment, reflect, evaluate, and identify how I relate to life. I feel more settled. And confident. And self-aware. I, myself, am a clinical counsellor and life coach. And I found immense benefit from working with Krista. Her open and honest demeanor, well-earned wisdom, and gentle approach allowed me the space to unfurl.
Carla Friesen, Counsellor + Pain Coach
Compassionate, trauma-aware, Evidence-Based mind-body Support
The journey of “becoming” more fully ourselves, befriending our true selves, and handcrafting a brave, joyful, and purposeful life that honours our wiring and the full truth of who and how we are can feel messy and vulnerable.
Life is complex and there are no magic pills – but we can take responsibility for what we can control and dive in fully to the life in front of us. We can bring compassion and deeper understanding to our current behavioural and emotional patterns and narratives while expanding our capacity for new ways of being and engaging in the world.
I will come alongside to guide, question, encourage, hold space, and gently challenge you as you do the work to unearth the truth of who you are and what you want, remember how to trust yourself, and walk out your Voice + Vision for this season of life. Many clients express that as they work with me they experience “a homecoming.”
gather in your support system
I’m a big believer in the importance of gathering in our support system and prioritizing our mind-body-emotional health as an act of self-compassion and also so that we can show up fully to life, love others well, and use our voice, resources, and personal strengths in an intentional and impactful way. It is wise and brave to ask for and receive mind-body support!
My client calls are primarily scheduled for Thursday and Friday (northern hemisphere) or Friday and Saturday mornings (southern hemisphere). Private coaching spaces are limited and I’m usually booking several weeks out (in some cases a couple months out) so as soon as you’re ready we’ll get you onto my calendar and I’ll give you a bit of work to complete before we meet for our first session.

mind-Body support for a brave and beautiful life
There are many paths to wholeness, many routes to a beautiful life. The graphic above reflects my own journey to freedom and the framework of Seasonal Living and 7 core concepts that I use to support my clients and community. I take an individualized approach to all of my work which means these concepts are more like guideposts or markers rather than hoops to jump through or a one-size-fits all map.
There’s plenty of soul-stretching and freeing work that happens within each of these seven core concepts and depending on what’s happening in our life or the challenges we’re facing, we might spend 3 months or 3 years in one emotional season or going deeper in one or two of these areas before feeling ready to continue the journey.
Faster is not better; as long as we show up willing and curious, life invites us deeper into the work. As one revolution cycles to an end, we begin again.
1. Befriend Yourself + Deepen Your Roots
You’re not bad, wrong, or broken or a problem to be fixed. Befriend yourself exactly who and how you are: a messy tangle of strength and struggle just like the rest of us. An imperfect and beautiful life in progress. Human in a messy world.
2. Attune to + trust your mind-emotion-body wisdom
Quiet the noise of comparison, perfectionism, fear, shame, and your mean inner critic and learn to trust yourself, attune to your inherent mind-emotion-body wisdom, and respond bravely and with compassion to what you hear!
3. make peace with paradox + open up to joy and beauty
Life “shouldn’t” feel neat and tidy; railing against the reality of life keeps us in suffering. Learning to make peace with paradox and practice the truth of both/and is freeing and empowering: Joy and pain coexist in a brave and beautiful life if we allow it.
4. come home: reorient or re-envision your life
Reorient or re-envision your life. This is a form of hope-in-action and keeps you anchored and resilient. Slow and steady you can handcraft a life that feels like home and tells the whole truth of who you are and what you want/need (+ the world you want to live in).
5. HONOUR YOUR WIRING + A SOUL-SUSTAINING WAY OF BEING
Life is more cyclical than linear, about going deeper not wider, and there’s wisdom and beauty to be mined in every season, even the hardest of them. Loosen your grip, show up curious, and learn to honour your wiring through a sustainable practice of seasonal living.
6. EMBRACE YOUR INNER WORK + EXPAND YOUR CAPACITY
We heal/grow/become at the speed of safety*: learn to process stress and grief, regulate your nervous system and expand your window of capacity in order to show up brave, whole, and on purpose to your messy and beautiful life.
7. RECLAIM YOUR VOICE AND AGENCY + EMBODY A NEW STORY
To walk in freedom and feel safe, at home, and joyful in your body and your life you must reclaim your voice and your agency, embody a new story for your life, and trust that we grow into the strength that we need for each season.
*”We heal at the speed of safety.” – Linda Thai
What does the process of working together look, sound, feel like?
When you purchase a Voice + Vision Bundle you will answer a series of pre-consult questions to help me get to know you and the reasons you came to me for support; this saves hours of coaching time. Some clients complete an IEQ9 Enneagram Assessment and I offer you my “Hope Map Assessment” to help us identify where you’re at on your journey with some specific skills, practices, and knowledge.
We will begin our time together with a 90-minute consult and then shift to 60-minute consults via Zoom. Included are two weeks of support after each consult using Voxer (a free voice messaging app) and/or email so you feel heard, seen, and compassionately supported along the way.
In most cases, at the end of each consult, you’ll walk away with 1-5 action steps – opportunity to practice new ways of being and apply what you’re learning to your life or to translate your vision into practical action. In these sessions we will take a holistic perspective, addressing mind (ex. self-compassion, beliefs/internal narratives, befriending the inner critic), emotions (ex. emotional literacy, sitting with discomfort, making space for grief + joy), body (ex. somatic work, gut health, nervous system regulation), lifestyle (ex. courageous relationships, boundaries, sense of purpose), environment, and faith or spirituality where applicable to help you handcraft a life that feels like home.

I reached out to Krista for coaching at a burnt-out and stuck moment in my life when it felt like everything I had tried to re-inspire and re-energize myself had failed. With unusual compassion and insight, she was able to help me see the ways I was being less than kind with myself. She helped me notice and name hurtful beliefs that I had lived with for so long I didn’t even recognize they were there. She helped me rewrite how I approach my identity, work with my strengths and wiring, and find fresh vision and clarity for my life. The empathy, wisdom, and tools Krista brought to our conversations, the level of responsiveness and support, and the unwavering message of compassion and belief that she consistently communicated helped me find the door to a new season of my life.

Who Am I to Help?
As a Holistic Mind-Body Health Practitioner I offer compassionate, grief and trauma-aware, evidence-based coaching and education, along with hard-fought wisdom, to women+ from different corners of the world who feel a little beat up by life, tired of the status quo, and ready to do the stretching work required to walk in greater freedom, wholeness, and joy.
I pull from multiple threads of study and exploration to inform my work: mindfulness counselling strategies, self-awareness (personality, identity, neurodivergence+) and self-compassion work, resilience building, somatic embodiment work that influences relationship to self, others, and the natural world, nervous system regulation, functional nutrition and holistic mind-emotion-body health, sustainable and seasonal living and cycle awareness, grief and trauma education, and more.
But my most valuable credential, by far, no matter what skill or goal I’m helping my clients work toward, is that I walk my talk. I consider myself a Fellow Sojourner, in the thick of it, practicing with you, hands-dirty, heart-open, doing the messy, soul-stretching work to thrive, love myself well, contribute to the world in meaningful ways, and walk in freedom.
I’m an educator and coach, not a therapist. The mind-body support I offer is not intended to diagnose, treat, heal, cure, or prescribe for any medical condition and it is not a replacement for therapy or medical advice.

Of all the programs I’ve been involved in (and there are many), yours is the most practical and makes the most sense to me because you touch on the somatic and the mind-heart-spirit. You bring together everything I’ve ever wanted to know about self-growth. I’m so glad that I found you.
