When I first came to Krista, it was because she offered to help with my son’s health and behavioural problems. I had no idea that she could help me too. I have suffered from depression for most of my life and I always thought it was a psychological issue or possibly a chemical imbalance that could be fixed with counselling or medication. The problem was that as soon as I stopped doing these things, the depression would come back. Krista recommended dietary and lifestyle changes that I admit I was very sceptical of at first. After implementing many of these recommendations over the past two years however, I am astounded at the profound impact these changes have had on my emotional well being. There were so many areas that needed work, it was difficult to decide where to start but once I began making small changes, it became easier. I am definitely still a work in progress but I am eternally grateful for Krista and her desire to help me because it was the catalyst I needed to start taking responsibility for my own physical and emotional health.
